I accelerated cash flow
by consolidating three onboarding platforms
Check out the final design

Industry: Gaming
My Role: UX/UI Designer
Sony PlayStation had onboarding platforms for each continent. Game creators navigate through these different dashboards to make their games available worldwide.
It slows down the availability of games on the platform and impacted the company's cash flow.

Design and
development brief
The client wanted me to find a way to consolidate three platforms that were completely different in terms of requirements and user experience, while still achieving the same overall goal.
I was expected to facilitate the consolidation of requirements ad negociuate the user jourey to develop a unified platform.
The challenge
As the project aimed to consolidate platforms across different continents, I had to coordinate with teams spread across various time zones and negotiate differing requirements. I organised one-on-one meetings early in the morning and late at night to connect with all the teams. I consolidated the insights and documented the gaps, negotiating separately with each team. Another challenge was ensuring that my design didn’t jeopardise the development team’s work, as they were struggling to connect different databases.
The process

Success and learning
The project was still ongoing when I completed my duties. The developers addressed the challenge of merging different databases and access. The Head of UX was satisfied with my work. The user testing he conducted returned positive outcomes, with minor changes needed, particularly regarding accessibility.
I learned how to consolidate applications, streamline complex processes, and work with a multinational team. This project taught me a more structured approach to handling complex business processes.
