Startups are very dynamic and often have limited funding available. The products needed to make an impact within very short timeframes and with almost no budget for a proper UCD process. User testing were challenging as there was a need for discretion and no budget for formal testing.

The process

I matched the fast-paced environment and the sense of urgency. Every design needed to be delivered quickly and iteratively. I developed a streamlined, efficient process, using my knowledge of what works and what doesn’t.

the outcomes

HIG and Material UI

I created the user experiences and visual designs following HIG and Material UI . Most of these projects are still in progress, but I provided working prototypes or early stage applications to secure funding from VCs.
